Amlwch Description:

Amlwch has fishing from the Harbour and from rock marks in Bull Bay and on Llam Carw.
The Harbour fishes onto a mainly sandy/silt bottom.
Bull Bay fishes onto mixed rocky close in, with sand further out.
Llam Carw has a mixed, mainly rocky, bed.

Fish caught include pollack, whiting, wrasse, conger, dogfish, plaice, dabs, codling.

Amlwch is on the A5025.
To reach the harbour, follow the brown signs for “Canolfan Treftadaeth” (Heritage Centre), where there is a car park and which is next to the harbour.
For Bull Bay, follow the signs to Bull Bay Golf Club. Drive past the club and there is parking on the right. Go through the little gate and follow the path.
To access Llam Carw, proceed as for the Harbour but do not branch left into the car park. Carry on to the end of the road where there is parking. Go through the small gate and follow the footpath.
