Bodelwyddan Game Anglers

Bodelwyddan Game Anglers Description:

Bodelwyddan Game Anglers have coarse and game fishing on rivers and lakes.

The River Conwy is famed for its salmon and sewin (sea trout). It also holds an abundant head of wild brown trout.

The River Clwyd is amongst best rivers around for sewin (sea trout), night fishing is always the best time for this quarry, from June onwards given the right amount of rain fall. It also holds an abundant head of wild brown trout.

The River Elwy is the major tributary of the Clwyd and fishes in much the same way.

The River Cledwen is the purists dream when fly fishing for really wild brown trout.

Hafod Pools are two waters which contain coarse fish and rainbow trout, used mainly by less able anglers who may fish with worm or fly.

Tai Lake covers an area of about 3 acres, spring fed, it holds rainbow and brown trout to around 8lbs. Fishing is fly and, for members only, worm.

Llyn Diwaunedd is around 40 acres. It has an abundance of hard fighting wild brown trout. The lake also holds the Artic char in its deep waters, but fishers are asked to return these to the water.

Llyn Sebri is mixed fishing with specimen coarse fish being present, including large eels. The lake was stocked last year with brown and rainbow trout and more recently with carp, bream and tench.
