Borth y Gest Description:
Borth y Gest has fishing from a beach and a harbour.
The beach is clean, sand and shingle.
The harbour is sand and silt, with small outcrops of rock at either end.
Fish include bass, rays, turbot, garfish, whiting, mackerel, dabs, dogfish, flounders.
Entering Porthmadog on the A487 from the south, turn left down the road signposted “Borth y Gest”. There is car parking in the village.
