Conwy has fishing from the harbour and the marina.
The harbour fishes onto a mainly sandy/ silt bottom.
The marina has a choice of fishing, off shingle, walls or sand onto a mixed bottom.
Fish caught include whiting, rockling, bass, flounders, dabs, plaice, dogfish. Salmon and sewin (sea trout) may also be available but fishing for them requires a licence.
Conwy is signposted on the A55. The harbour is signed in the town. Parking can be difficult at popular times in the tourist season.
Conwy Marina is signposted from the A55. Follow this road and turn into Ellis Way. At the end of this road is parking. The fishing is nearby.
