Many people who are fond of fishing, travel from one place to another just to experience the fresh waters of other places. One of the famous fishing destinations is Denmark. Apart from its extensive coastline for sea and deep sea fishing, Denmark also has many lakes, streams, and fresh waters where fishing can be done all year—from long summer nights angling to winter ice-fishing.

Fishing regulations in Wales are pretty much the same as countries like Denmark. In Copenhagen, for instance, you need to have a fishing license when fishing around the fresh waters. This can be obtained at the Danish post office, some fishing and tackle shops and local tourist offices, which will be valid for a year. For tourists, they can get licenses that are valid for a day or a week. Most fishing spots in Denmark are naturally beautiful. You can do other activities other than fishing. You can have picnics with your friends or family. After a long day of fishing, you can sit down beside the lake and enjoy the sight while relaxing by playing online poker from websites like Partypoker. These kinds of gaming websites offer online poker players with an Android poker application that can easily be downloaded and installed into their mobile phone. In this way, they can play whenever and wherever they are. This a perfect way to relax your mind after fishing for hours. You can also gather along with your friends and play the game after spending a long time outside fishing for big Rudds and Ide.

There are several anglers who love fishing in the wonderful waters of Denmark. The late Geoff Webster is one of them. His best year fishing in Denmark’s fresh waters was in May 2012. He had gone fishing in the Danish Lakeland around Silkeborg and River Guden with two other friends. Every day, they enjoyed having 100 pound bags of roach with fish weighing 4 ounces to 1.5 pounds. They use worms, sweet corn and boiled wheat as their regular bait to have fishes coming to them continuously.

Another dedicated angler is Keith Lidgett, who fishes twice a year in Denmark, and spends a month in the country whenever he visits. Lidgett has his own way of fishing. He uses boiled wheat as a pre bait when fishing in still waters. He also uses very little ground bait to attract small silver fishes. He only uses ground bait as a plug on each end of his feeder. He loves fishing in rivers and lakes. River and lake bottoms have firm sand—this is essential to have a good bait to stand and a good pair of waders.
