Llandudno Description:

Llandudno has two beaches, both being sand and shingle with occasional rocks, plus a pier and rock marks, the most well known of which are probably Pigeon Holes and Angel Bay.
The North Shore, part of which is sometimes called Craig-y-Don, lies between the Great and Little Ormes.
The West Shore is on the south-western side of the town, between the Great Orme and the Conwy estuary.
Pigeon Holes is on the Great Orme. Care is needed and these are not marks for the less agile.
Angel Bay is on the east side of the Little Orme. These are difficult marks and not for the novice, the lone fisherman or the less agile.

Fish caught include whiting, flatties, dogfish, cod, dabs, mackerel, bass, codling, plaice, flounders, smoothound, coalfish.

The North Shore, West Shore and Pier are all signposted in the town. There is good parking readily available at all three locations.
The Pigeon Holes mark is on the Great Orme. Go through the gate, which may be payable, and park in the lay-by near the second bench. Walk through the gap in the wall and down to the marks.
Angel Bay is reached from the roundabout on the B5115 at Penrhyn Bay. Take Glan y Mor Road then turn left into Penrhyn Beach. At the T-junction, turn left into Penrhyn Beach West and follow the road to its junction with Penrhyn Beach East. Turn left here and park as near to the end as is conveniently possible. Walk through the gate and along the path to the bay.
