Pontardawe and Swansea Angling Society Description:

Pontardawe and Swansea Angling Society has fishing on the rivers Tawe, Upper Clydach, Lower Clydach, Gwili and Cilieni.

The River Tawe is one of the finest game fishing rivers in Wales. Fishing is for salmon, sewin (sea trout) and brown trout. Various methods of fishing are permitted, subject to species and season.

Upper Clydach river – a tributary of River Tawe, fishing is primarily for brown trout. Various methods of fishing are permitted.

Lower Clydach river – a tributary of River Tawe, fishing is primarily for brown trout. Various methods of fishing are permitted.

River Gwili – a tributary of River Loughor, fishing is primarily for brown trout. Various methods of fishing are permitted.

River Cilieni – a tributary of River Usk, fishing is primarily for brown trout, only fly fishing is allowed and all fish caught must be returned unharmed.
