Fishing in Wales: Swanlake Bay

Swanlake Bay Description:

Swanlake Bay has a sand and shingle beach, with a stretch of rock ledges at its eastern end.
The beach fishes onto clean ground.
The rocks fish onto a mixed bed.

Fish include turbot, flounder, bass, rays

Swanlake Bay is off the A4139 north between Jameston and Hodgeston. About halfway between these two, where the road bends right, turn sharp left down a lane. The first turning right is to Swanlake Bay Farm Guesthouse and Tea Rooms. Park here with consideration, or ask at the farm. Walk through the farm to a footpath leading to the beach.
