Talybont Beach Description:

Talybont Beach is clean and sandy, with the odd stretch of shingle.

Fish caught include bass, plaice, dogfish, flounders, dabs, whiting, turbot, rays.

On entering Talybont village from the south on the A496, take the first left turn. The road terminates in a small parking area and the beach is accessed through the dunes.

  1. Fished the beach here the week commencing the 3rd of July 2012. Had 1 Huss 2 Dogies,small Ray,Bass,Flounder,Dab and a small Plaice.

    Fished 1 hour before low water and 2 hours after.

    Mainly on sandeel but did switch to Black Lug.

    Went back there for a day while the school hols were on and what a waste of time.

    If the kids are off stay well away !.
